VIDEO TRAINING

HISTORY - Joanne

I started riding at the age of 10 years old. Very successful firstly in show jumping in both ponies and horses up to Advanced levels.
I started working professionally with horses at the age of 18. Firstly working many years as a trainer at several different equestrian establishments and then started to work as a freelance trainer. I have worked as a professional trainer/rider for most of my working life.
I then decided to change to competing in dressage. Having trained with many of the top trainers in the UK, I decided to go directly to "the source" i.e. Germany for further training and never looked back! Since first coming to Germany for training over 20 years ago, I have devoted my life to learning from the very best people to train horses in the classical way up to the level of Grand Prix
I have successfully ridden to Advanced levels in competition and trained horses to Grand Prix levels at home.

I am a holder of the British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor (level 2 International Trainer).
Whilst living in the UK, I was also a BD qualified Dressage Judge for many years
I have devoted my life to the study of the training of horses and also riders. I have constantly continued my education and learning. I recently gained a HND in Equine Sports Coaching followed by a BSc Degree in Equine Sports Science .

Trained and worked as a professional Bereiterin/Trainer in some top dressage yards in Germany many times over the past 17 years.

Trained with trainers such as Stefan Kiesewetter, Hans Heinrich Meyer zu Strohen.
Spent 3 years as a P/T Equine Consultant for a branch of the British Mounted Police.

Author of 4 books, used in preparation for the British Horse Society examinations.
